Diagnose your Xerox printer ink cartridge problem

On the help menu, scroll down the page to supplies information, press OK and print the supplies page.
Go to the help menu again and this time, select print quality, press the menu button. Scroll down to Help pages, press Menu, and print diagnostic test pages. Check the page precisely and examine the symptoms.
If a page has vertical lines or streaks:
Adjust the color density of your printer machine.
On the help tab, go to the print quality, press menu and navigate to calibrate colors.Then select menu, click to Adjust Each Color and then hit the menu button.
Configure the density of the color.
If all four print out have a streak, random spot:
Run clean for smudges, press the help button, and scroll to print quality. Press the menu button and navigate to clean for smudges.
Then press ok and hit the confirm button.
Replace imaging unit, fuser or fuser roll.
If all pages come solid black:
Remove and then re-insert the main charge grid. If the problem still appearing change the main charge grid.
Also, ensure the ink level.
If the four color sheets are faded:
Select any media for further process.
Use Xerox media and select the correct media tray.
While using the multi-purpose tray, choose the correct media in the panel.
Refer to calibrate for paper in the printer’s front panel and run this mode.
Hit the help button scroll down to the print quality and then click on Menu and then select calibrate for paper and configure the transfer setting.
Change the imaging unit or transfer kit.
